I spent years building apps to solve defined problems. Lately, my focus has shifted to designing apps and workflows as part of complete AI agent systems.
Not single tools, but small networks of agents that can work together towards business, creative or charitable aims.
What interests me most is how much leverage this creates. One person, with a phone and the right agent setup, can now do work that once required multiple teams. It also raises questions about how organisations are structured, and what still needs to be built the old way.
I am exploring what it means to design work and organisations that are AI native from the outset, and how to do that carefully and well.
I split my time between volunteering, building agents and freelancing; drawing on experience from my previous management career with the likes of Lloyds Bank, UCI Cinemas, Lex Vauxhall, Egg Bank (Prudential) and British Airways Executive Club and Air Miles.
